CNC Milling & Turning
The precision CNC milling and turning capabilities at Prime Products are ideally suited for small to medium-sized parts that require tight tolerances and high-quality finishes. We specialize in machining a wide variety of plastics such as Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Delrin, ABS, Nylon, PTFE and PVC. We also machine phenolic laminate and polarizer sheets, as well as various grades of aluminum and steel.
Prime Products’ CNC mills are 3-axis with high rpm spindles. Our CNC lathes feature a Y axis, live tooling, sub spindle and bar feeder.
We utilize the following machine processes:

Our engineers use CAD and CAM software to program all of our CNC and CMM equipment. We can develop the CAD models in-house, or import STEP, DXF or other files supplied by our customers. Additionally, we utilize hyperMILL CAM software to ensure the most efficient processes – greatly reducing lead times on our projects.
We design and build all of our holding fixtures, including vacuum fixtures and many of our cutting tools. Product quality is closely monitored using our programmable vision/touch probe CMM’s and an array of other inspection equipment.
Our manufactured parts can meet the most stringent ISO, AS and MIL-SPEC standards, while achieving tolerances of ±.0002 inches, with a repeatability of ±.0001 inches.
