Our precision CO2 laser cutting systems are used primarily for cutting non-metallic materials, but we can also cut thin gage aluminum and steel, and we can raster images on our laser-cut parts. We also use our lasers for precision spray mask trimming.
Our CO2 lasers are designed and built for holding tolerances of ± .005”, and we utilize programmable vision CMM’s to ensure tolerances are held.
Our CO2 laser work center includes a laminator, so we can laminate pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheets to plastic sheets prior to laser cutting.
The table below lists some of the materials that we have cut. The thickness can be up to 1” for materials that cut cleanly on a CO2 laser, such as acetal and acrylic, or down to .030” for materials that tend to burn, such as FR-4/G-10 and polycarbonate.
